The Arabian Gulf Company was established in 2004 with Commercial Registration No. (7070098) dated May 31, 2004 and began its economic activity in the field of extracting chromium from quarries, classifying and marketing it, and exporting the bulk of the production to international markets; the rest is marketed in the internal market. The company started its activities with a limited number of heavy equipment and machinery, as well as a limited number of skilled and ordinary workers in the production sites, in addition to the administrators in the company’s main office.
Our Story
With increasing in the volume of production and the gradual increase in revenues year to year, the company proceeded to expand its production activity by increasing the number of equipment (excavators) and heavy machinery (trucks) owned by the company, reaching (40) excavators and trucks, in addition to hiring (22) of equipment and machinery. The company has succeeded in achieving good results at the level of production and export, which enabled it to enhance its production and financial position.

The volume of production during the company’s activity period was as follows:
The average production volume during the period 2004-2013 reached about (100) thousand tons annually
The average production volume during the period 2014-2020 was about (200) thousand tons annually
During the past year 2021, the company achieved a record (250,000) tons, even though it was the year of the Corona pandemic. In the current strategic plan (2022-2026), the company aims to increase the volume of production to 500,000 tons annually.
With the development of the size of the company’s assets and the increase in its production and sales, the company sought to open wider horizons for its production activity by attracting experts, technicians, and skilled and ordinary labor in proportion to the volume of work in the mines and quarries in which the company operates and in a manner that meets the growing demand for chromium in the external and internal markets. The number of employees in the company in various specializations and professions ranged around (112) people in the first years of starting its activity, and (250) workers and employees at the height of its productive activity in the last ten years.
